The plant is expected to deliver 7.5-megawatt peak (MWp) power. The solar power supply, along with SUWECO’s 8.8-megawatt (MW) diesel-powered generators, is expected to address the power problem in the towns of Odiongan, San Andres, Calatrava, San Agustin, Santa Maria, Santa Fe, Alcantara, Looc, and Ferrol.

SUWECO has said in its statement that the Tumingad Solar Power Plant will provide clean, green, and reliable electricity to at least 43,400 households in Romblon.
